Preston is a town in the County of Adams in the state of Wisconsin. The population was 1393 in the 2010 census. The unincorporated community of Cottonville is located within the town borders and the ghost towns of Fordham and Roche-A-Cri were once located in our town. The beautiful Roche-A-Cri State Park is located in the southwest corner of Preston. It has miles of hiking/cross country skiing trails, camping, and scenic petroglyphs. On the north side of Preston, there is a 210 acre lake named Roche-A-Cri and a portion of Friendship Lake is located within the southern border.
